GEMx is once again excited to support the Student Projects for Health Competition, now in its second year! The competition recognizes currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who have made outstanding contributions to projects that successfully promote community health and well-being. Key contributors to such projects are encouraged to learn more by visiting https://faimer.fluidreview.com/res/p/student-projects-for-heal/.

Student Projects for Health is also supported by the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER®) and will be a feature of the 2016 conference of The Network: Towards Unity for Health (TUFH), to be held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China, July 26-30, 2016. Winners will be invited to attend the conference and present their projects. The award includes travel, accommodation, and conference registration fee.

To see some of the amazing work that Student Projects for Health contributors have produced, we invite you to watch video interviews with winners from last year’s competition. GEMx looks forward to this year’s competition and to learning more about projects that make a difference by working to improve the health of communities worldwide!
